How To Fix/Revive Your Dead Laptop/Phone Battery

Originally, laptop batteries where meant to last longer say: from 2 to 7hours depending on the capacity, when charged. But as time goes and it begins to age. It tends to loose its hold of charge and its time out decreases gradually to a state where it can barely last 5mins. Then we say the laptop battery is dead and needs a replacement.

Before going for a replacement, you might want to try this out.

How To Revive My Dead Laptop Battery
N.B This Is Also Applicable To Mobile phone Batteries.
1. Remove the dead battery from laptop.
2. Put it inside a nylon bag and seal it up. You can easily make use of pure water nylon.
3. Put the sealed battery into the freezer of your refrigerator, and leave for like 12hours.
4. Bring out the battery from the freezer, with the nylon still on it, allow it to cool to room temperature.
5. Now untie/remove the seal, and with a dry towel dry up any visible liquid on the battery.
6. Put it back into the laptop without turning it ON and charge to full capacity.
7. Turn it on and allow it to discharge, and charge back to full capacity. And your laptop battery should be back to normal.
